Our Story

Seeds are (one of) the foundations to our local food system.

Join us as we embark on a journey to bring local food to the center of our conversations while using seeds and their stories.

SEED Brown County offers solutions to some of the challenges that arise from providing whole and LOCAL foods to people in our rural community.

We strive to fulfill our mission by focusing on two activities:  establishing a seed library & educating our community on the importance of seed stewardship.

We host seed swaps, (seed shares), workshops, lectures, and events in the community  in which create a sharing and learning environment.

We are spearheading the Brown County Local Food Initiative in which to help develop and connect the local food growing network in Brown County by providing resources like seeds, training, and education.

SEED YA THERE! 🙂
